Some day ago I found this interesting link about web privacy. The initiative is from the Electronic Frontier Foundation and uses an interesting technique for tracking the web users…

Panopticlick demonstrates how “someone” can track the users calculating a fingerprint from features supported by the user’s web browser (like supported fonts, screen resolution, timezone, etc…). Even disabling cookies or browsing in “Private Mode” is not enough to protect from this technique…

The moral of the story: think twice when browsing some websites, the big brother is  watching  you! (maybe…) 🙂
